In 2025, global Solid Resilient Tire output reached about 32 million units and global capacity of around 36 million units. The average price is about USD 140 per unit, with gross margins near 31%. Solid Resilient Tires are non-pneumatic industrial tires made entirely from solid rubber or multi-layer rubber compounds, designed to provide high load-bearing capacity, puncture resistance, durability, and stable operation without the risk of air-pressure loss. They are commonly constructed using two or three functional layers, such as a wear-resistant tread compound, a resilient/cushion intermediate layer for shock absorption and heat dissipation, and a hard base compound reinforced with steel bead wires or other mounting structures to secure the tire to the wheel rim. Compared with pneumatic tires, solid resilient tires are particularly suited to forklifts, industrial trucks, material-handling vehicles, airport ground-support equipment, port machinery, mining and construction equipment, and other applications involving heavy loads, frequent starts and stops, abrasive surfaces, or environments with a high risk of puncture. The supply chain begins with upstream materials including natural rubber, synthetic rubber (such as SBR, BR and specialty elastomers), carbon black, silica, process oils, sulfur and curing agents, antioxidants, reinforcing fibers, steel bead wire and other additives; midstream manufacturers perform rubber compounding, component preparation, extrusion/calendering, tire building, molding, vulcanization, trimming, inspection and performance testing to produce finished solid resilient tires; downstream distribution occurs through tire manufacturers' direct-sales networks, industrial tire dealers, forklift and material-handling equipment OEMs, wheel-and-tire assembly suppliers and aftermarket channels, ultimately serving warehousing and logistics, manufacturing, ports and terminals, airports, construction, mining, recycling, automotive production and other heavy-duty industrial operations.
